Halloween movie night, picked together
The Halloween problem is never a shortage of scary movies — it's that one friend wants a slasher, one wants something 'actually scary', and one will only sit through it if it's funny. A group chat can't settle that. A swipe deck can.
Brew a Halloween deck and pickaru deals a hand of horror and thriller picks. Everyone swipes yes, no, or maybe on their own phone, vetoes the one thing they can't handle, and when the last person finishes the results unlock at once — a full match if you all said yes to the same film, otherwise the ranked shortlist, or let the roulette decide.

The kind of thing the deck deals
Hereditary2018
For the crew that wants to be properly disturbed.
Get Out2017
Horror that everyone in the room can agree on.
Scream1996
The slasher that also laughs at slashers.
The Shining1980
A classic for a night with the lights off.
A Quiet Place2018
Tense, short, and nobody is allowed to crunch popcorn.
Hocus Pocus1993
For the household where 'scary' is negotiable.
Examples, not the deck: the deck is dealt fresh from the filters when you brew it, so it changes every time.

Questions
Can I make the deck less scary?
Yes — the preset only lights up the Horror and Thriller moods. Swap them for Comedy or Family in the builder, or raise the rating floor, before you deal.
What if someone vetoes everything?
A veto benches one title for the whole group, so it's for the film you genuinely can't watch, not for tactics. The results show who liked what once everyone has finished.
Do my friends need an account?
No. They open the invite link or type the six-letter code, pick a name, and swipe as a guest — nothing to install.
