The service

pickaru helps groups decide together — a movie, a show to binge, what to eat, or a board game — by swiping through a shared deck. It is a free, non-commercial hobby project provided as-is, with no uptime or availability guarantees.

Fair use

• Don't attempt to access other people's parties or data.
• Don't use offensive display or party names.
• Don't abuse the service with automated traffic or attempts to circumvent rate limits.
• Don't scrape or bulk-export the third-party data the app displays (TMDB, IMDb, BoardGameGeek) — their licenses don't allow redistribution, and neither do we.

Accounts or parties that break these rules may be removed.

Third-party data

Movie and show information and images are supplied by TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Posters and metadata remain the property of their respective owners.

Board game data courtesy of BoardGameGeek.com, used under BGG's XML API Terms of Use for personal, non-commercial purposes. Box art and game data remain the property of their respective owners.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the maintainer is not liable for any damages arising from use of the service. Your only remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using it (and pick a movie the old-fashioned way: arguing).
