Classic movie night: the films everyone should have seen
Everyone has a list of famous films they've never got round to, and a group is the best excuse to fix that — but 'let's watch a classic' starts an argument about whose classic. One person means Kubrick, one means Spielberg, one means anything with a car chase.
Brew a classics deck and pickaru deals well-rated films from the 1960s to the 1990s — the throwback mood, a rating floor, four decades. Everyone swipes in private, so the person who's seen everything doesn't steer it, and the deck skips what you've already marked as watched.

Starting points that never disappoint a room
The Godfather1972
Three hours nobody notices passing. Start here.
Jaws1975
The first blockbuster, and still the best-paced one.
Alien1979
A haunted-house film in space — the whole room jumps at the same moment.
Back to the Future1985
The safest classic there is: everyone in the room will enjoy it, every time.
The Princess Bride1987
For a group that wants a classic but not a serious one.
Pulp Fiction1994
The one your friend keeps quoting. Time to see why.
Examples, not the deck: the deck is dealt fresh from the filters when you brew it, so it changes every time.

Questions
Why nothing before the 1960s?
The decade chips run from the 1960s up; older films are better hand-picked — switch the builder to manual mode and search them by name, and they'll be dealt exactly.
Can I narrow it to one decade?
Yes — the preset lights four decade chips; untick the ones you don't want before you deal. Add a genre chip for 'classic horror' or 'classic sci-fi' nights.
